what is sangria?

Sangria is a low-profile mercenary guild located in the heart of Ul'dah, its members stretching to the furthest edges of Eorzea as we know it. Originally founded in Hingashi, our team's grown in size along our travels, efforts spent working on commission and by request of the locale.While our staff holds more expertise in field work and battle environments, we also dabble in the business of trade supply and distribution, particularly products that aren't commerically available. Most, if not all materials are sourced from our staff suppliers based in the Far East, guaranteed quality and quantity where possible.As per the guild's roots, Sangria was founded atop the notion of justice. Its members each participating with a goal to strive for, found within what Sangria can contribute in such pursuit.

ayato kusanagi

One of Sangria's earliest, yet lowest ranking member, Ayato acts as the guild's designated hitman, taking on more secretive jobs where stealth and a clear mind are crucial. He takes pride in the work he does, despite how gruesome it may seem to many. Where he wanders, there are heads to collect. A bit of a solitary soul; growing close to him is a feat few have reached. But, as for the inner connections of Sangria, it's said he and the boss bear a bond that transcends their ranking and reputation entirely.
Ayato's work carries him wherever he is needed, be it the forests of the Shroud, or the piers of Kugane. The hard part, however, is spotting him amongst a crowd.

A timid soul with self-proclaimed powers Sangria is eager to see, Maya is the newest member to the guild and, as such, is the second to lowest rank. She fumbles with her words and quick to panic, though such qualities hardly befit the story she shares of her history; claiming her identity as the reincarnated fell god from a world beyond, crash-landing on Etheirys as a warning to its citizens as to what she's capable of. Though, it's hardly any impressive when she's tripping and falling with that haughty blade of hers. With closer inspection, and a trained eye for aether, one could easily sense such blade carries a power few can harness...
As a budding flower within the guild, she spends most of her time close to base in Ul'dah, honing her skills and, supposedly, learning to wield her otherworldly magia to better fit her goals.

As one of the few that work behind the scenes within Sangria, Juni is seldom found amongst the public, despite her ranking. She's far from the qualities of a reliable peer, often answering with her blades first before her words. That being said, fighting and killing isn't so much her profession, acting as the company's double agent to gain intel on rivaling guilds and those who seek out the boss' identity. As one of its earlier members, she takes a high role amongst her peers, and she puts in the hard work to represent her duties well.
She rarely speaks of her home life, nor her family, and approaching such topics are easily met with aggression. Have care.

Despite one's lack of typical battle prowess required in a guild such as Sangria, Dove's skills with machinery and workmanship scored him an easy position as the team's weaponsmith. As one relatively new to the inner workings of his peers, his recent whereabouts have typically trailed alongside those willing to show him the ropes, hoping to situate him proper with the gravity of his tasks all the while. His upbringing served as a minor obstacle for a time, having kept away from most crowds and people altogether, but he continuously proves to be a reliable sort in the overarching success of the team, whether he believes it or not.
